  • Choose the right time: early morning, but it's very crowded. Late afternoon is a good time to visit the Acropolis, as it's less crowded and the light is softer.

  • Protect yourself from the sun and light: a hat is not a luxury, and sunglasses + sunscreen are a must, especially in the summer.
  • Stay hydrated: Very exposed and with very little shade available, staying well hydrated is a big tip. Bring plenty of bottled water, as it can get very hot and there aren't many dispensers.
